Vintage 'Green Mansions' Book: 1944 Random House Hardcover, Illustrated

Green Mansions: A Romance of the Tropical Forest is a 1904 exotic romance by William Henry Hudson about a traveller to the Guyana jungle of southeastern Venezuela and his encounter with a forest-dwelling girl named Rima.

This edition is a Random House hardcover printed in 1944 with beautiful illustrations by E. McKnight Kauffer and a foreword by John Galsworthy. The forest-green colors are stunning!

Condition
The book is in O.K. condition for its age. The colors are still vibrant and it's a very beautiful book, but there are some signs of wear. There are water marks on the top, and the binding is breaking down a bit. The edges of the cover are scuffed.
